Peebles Football Club Junior section are delighted to announce they will be joining forces with Box Soccer to provide a 6 week introductory programme commencing on Thursday 21th April 2016 for six weeks.
For those not familiar with Box Soccer, it is the brainchild of former Dundee United Academy Director, Ian Cathro and is the complete technical development programme — that comes in a BOX!
Box Soccer’s innovative single set-up structure delivers everything from individual skill drills to position specific and group practices creating a stimulating, memorable environment for the development of the young player.
The sessions will take place at Whitestone Park, Peebles on consecutive Thursdays starting from 21th April till 26th May 2016. Each session will consist of three Boxes operating for 2010, 2009, 2008 squads from 6:30-7:30 pm and 2007, 2006 and 2005 squads from 7:30-8:30 pm.

Primary 3 coach and Chartered Physiotherapist Stephen Wrigley has offered an initial assessment and one follow up treatment free of charge to school age players. Stephen is a highly skilled physiotherapist with an extensive back ground in sports medicine including working with one of Scotland's top football clubs. Stephen is lead physiotherapist in Scotland for the Ministry of Defence, lead physiotherapist for Peebles Rugby club and senior clinician at The Health Rooms, a new practice in Peebles offering expert physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
